This page explains how to request deletion of your Fin World account and the personal data linked to it on TheFin.world and Fin World mobile apps.
How to request account deletion
- Email Raj@Thefin.world
- Use the subject line: Fin World account deletion request
- Send the email from the address used to sign in to Fin World (or include the parent/guardian email on file if the request is for a learner account)
- Tell us whether you want the whole household account deleted or a specific learner profile removed
We may reply to confirm your identity or a parent/guardian's authority before processing the request.
What we delete
After we verify your request, we delete or anonymize personal information associated with the Fin World account, including where applicable:
- Account profile (name, email, phone, country, role)
- Parent or guardian contact details stored for learner accounts
- Family and child profiles under that account
- Learning progress, quiz results, and gameplay session data
- Active login sessions
What we may keep
We may retain certain records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, for example:
- Payment and tax records handled by our payment provider (such as Razorpay) for the period required by financial regulations
- Records needed to resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or prevent fraud
- Backup copies for a limited time until they are overwritten in the normal course of operations
How long deletion takes
We aim to complete verified account deletion within 30 days of confirming your request. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is finished.
